Learning Oral Implant Surgery in a Predictable Teaching Environment
Oral Implantology is the fastest growing segment of clinical cosmetic dentistry. Although the majority of general dentists are involved with implants, most are resolved to only the restorative aspects. Many general dentists are looking to provide their patients with better, complete care and are seeking dental implant training courses to competently learn implant surgical placement.
Traditional dental implant courses “cram” too much information in a short time or offer only lectures with didactic information. Frustration occurs when the clinician is “loaded” with information and on Monday is unable to implement what was taught.
The Dental Implant Learning Center is a state-of-the-art dental continuing education facility, located just 10 minutes from NYC. The Center offers Day, Weekend, and 3 Day intensive hands-on courses, its popular year-long Mini-Residency in surgical implant dentistry, and our premiere comprehensive courses, The Las Vegas AAID Maxicourse®, and The New York AAID Maxicourse®.
The director, John Minichetti, DMD, Diplomate, American Board of Oral Implantology, is a general dentist himself and understands the needs of his dental implant training attendees. Hundreds of students have attended his courses; many are now routinely performing dental implant surgery.
Participants receive training for implant dentistry on a consistent weekly basis with academic material, clinical experience, and live surgery. Participants undergo hands-on laboratory exercises and can perform live surgery under the supervision of the director. This repetitive tell, show, and do method of teaching gives the dentist clinical time to review instruction and bring practical experience to and from their own offices. Class sizes are limited to ensure individual attention.

Dr. John Minichetti
Program Director
Dr. Minichetti is board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/ Implant Dentistry. Dr. Minichetti is past-president of the AAID, the ABOI, President of the AAID-Bergen County Dental Implant Study Group, and serves as Chief of the Department of Dentistry at Englewood Hospital and Program Director of the Englewood Hospital GPR Program.
Dr. Minichetti is the Director of the Center for Implants and Aesthetics at Englewood Dental, Director of The Dental Implant Learning Center, Director of the Las Vegas AAID Maxicourse®, held at UNLV, School of Dental Medicine, and the New York AAID Maxicourse®, held at Englewood Hospital, New Jersey. He has published numerous scientific articles, has authored in textbooks and has lectured and instructed worldwide.
Jennifer Yang
Education Coordinator
Jennifer Yang has been a part of the Dental Implant Learning Center for the past 10 years. Jennifer began as a Surgical Assistant and has gained knowledge and expertise in Implant Dentistry while working with Dr. Minichetti. Her unique clinical background and educational knowledge makes her the perfect person to speak to when trying to take the next step in your Dental Career.

Three Day Cadaver
This Dental Implant CE course is designed for the Moderate to Advanced implant dentist. Lectures will include suturing, soft tissue grafts, bone grafting, socket preservation, ridge augmentation with membrane, autogenous block grafting, allograft block grafting, sinus grafting techniques, osteotoming, and immediate implant placement.
AAID Maxicourse in NY
The New York AAID Maxicourse is a 300-hour AAID course. The program is designed to give a thorough understanding of diagnostic and treatment modalities necessary to properly treat patients with dental implants by utilizing case-based and hands-on learning methods, including interactive semniars, patient treatment, and cadaver dissection.
Three Day Live Implant Surgery in Cancun
This Course provides a thorough understanding of the surgical diagnosis and treatment for patients with dental implants. This unique program is limited to a small number of doctors who will have the opportunity to perform live dental implant surgery under the direction of some of the world’s top clinicians and educators.
